General Manager

Leland Fischer, our General Manager, is a longtime Mordecai fan, with a love for baseball, hospitality, and all things vintage. 

Prior to joining the team, Leland established himself in restaurants in New York City, Las Vegas, and finally Chicago. He has traveled the world extensively, including having worked in several wineries and vineyards across the globe.

When he’s not keeping things running smoothly here at Mordecai, Leland is road-tripping and exploring new places with his fiancé and their pets.

He’s passionate about creating a warm, welcoming experience for every guest, whether you're here for a pre-game cocktail or a leisurely dinner. His background in the industry, combined with his attention to detail, ensures that every visit to Mordecai is seamless and memorable.
